Build a List

Group people or companies for a piece of work, such as the accounts you want to reach this quarter, without changing anyone’s circle.

A List is a group you build yourself: the accounts you want to reach this quarter, the advisors you keep close, the people you met at an event. Lists and the five circles are the two ways to organize your network, and they’re independent. A person stays in their circle whatever Lists they’re on.

  1. Open Lists in the sidebar and create a new List with a name you’ll recognize.

  2. Add people or companies from My Network. A CSV of target accounts is a quick way to bring in a whole List at once.

  3. Work from the List: open Paths to see who can introduce you to each company, or ask Akai™ who can get you into any of them.

Good to know:

  • A List is a working view for you. It never becomes an audience, and nothing is sent to a List.

  • Companies and people are separate inside My Network, so a List of target accounts holds companies, and the people you know at each one show up through Paths.
