Answer an intro request as a bridger

A request shows you who is asking, whom they want to reach, their context, and any fee terms. You accept, counter the fee, or decline, and nothing happens without you.

You appear as a bridger when you use itogai and have turned on network sharing (Settings, Privacy, Share my network). A bridger is the person in the middle of a warm path, the one who knows both sides, and you always decide whether an introduction happens.

  1. Open Intros to see the request. It shows who is asking, whom they want to reach, the context they wrote, and, if they proposed one, the fee terms. Nothing else from their account is shown to you, and nothing from yours is shown to them.

  2. Decide. You can accept, decline for any reason or none, or, where a fee was proposed, counter it. If you take a fee for the first time, you accept the Bridger Terms at itogai.app/legal/bridger-terms.

  3. If you accept, the person they want to reach is asked whether they agree, and answers with one click. Contact details are exchanged only once they say yes.

  4. When both sides agree, the introduction is made. Akai™ can draft it, with its reasons, for you to review and send.

Good to know:

  • Nothing is ever answered on your behalf.

  • A decline has no consequence anywhere in itogai: it never lowers a score, a path, or your visibility, and only the requester learns of it.

  • The fee is between you and the requester for that one introduction. itogai never sets or suggests a number and never holds funds. If you take it in cash, itogai keeps 5 percent, and if you take it in Sparks, itogai keeps nothing. Fees aren’t allowed in healthcare, securities or fund placement, lending, insurance, legal services, or government.

  • You can turn network sharing off anytime. Switching it off closes every pending request where you’re the bridger, and the requester’s Sparks are released in full.
