Troubleshooting

Google asks for permissions again, or my Gmail connection fails.

Reconnect from Settings, Connected accounts, check that you picked the right Google account, and ask your Google Workspace administrator if Google blocks the app.

A Google connection stops reading when the permission expires, when you revoke it in your Google account, when you change your Google password, or when a Google Workspace administrator blocks the app. itogai keeps what it already derived, and you can reconnect in a minute.

  1. Go to Settings, then Connected accounts, and look at the account’s state in the Email accounts table.

  2. Choose Reconnect and go through Google’s page again. Pick the same Google account you connected before, because a different account is a new connection.

  3. If Google shows a message that your administrator hasn’t allowed the app, ask your Google Workspace administrator to allow it. itogai can’t change that from its side.

  4. If Google asks for permissions again right after you allowed them, open your Google account’s page for third-party apps with account access, check whether itogai is listed, then try Reconnect once more.

  5. Still failing? Write to support@itogai.com with the email on your account, the Google account you’re connecting, and what you see, with a screenshot if you can. A person answers within one business day.

Good to know: itogai asks only for the permission to read who you write to, when, and how often. It never reads or stores the body of your emails, and it never asks for your password.
