Troubleshooting

An intro email didn’t arrive.

Check the request’s state in Intros, ask the recipient to look for an email from you or from intros@itogai.com, spam folder included, and correct the address on their record if it’s wrong.

An introduction moves through three emails: the ask to the bridger, the consent request to the person being introduced, and the connecting email once both agree. If one of them didn’t arrive, work through this list.

  1. Open Intros and check the request’s state. If it shows that an email didn’t send, retry it from there.

  2. Ask the recipient to search their mailbox, spam folder included, for your name and for itogai. Introduction emails go out as you when your connected account can send, and otherwise from itogai’s introductions address, intros@itogai.com.

  3. Check that the recipient’s address is right on their record in My Network, and correct it if it isn’t.

  4. If the email went out and the person simply hasn’t answered, that’s not a delivery problem. Nothing in itogai answers or nudges for them. Follow up yourself, outside itogai if you prefer.

  5. Still missing? Write to support@itogai.com with the email on your account, the request, and the recipient’s address. A person answers within one business day.

Good to know: a reply to intros@itogai.com reaches no one and is never read. Anyone who wants to reach itogai about an introduction writes to support@itogai.com, and the page itogai.app/legal/network-notice explains what itogai holds about the people in a user’s network.
