What was a Spark charged for?

Sparks pay for four things, each at a fixed cost: an intro request (40), an enrichment (one, or two for a mobile number), Akai assists (one Spark for five), and a Broadcast beyond the included ones (80 or 160).

A Spark leaves your balance only on your own explicit action, and only for one of four things:

  • A warm introduction request: 40 Sparks, held when you send and used when the introduction completes. If it doesn’t complete, for any reason, they’re released in full.

  • An enrichment: one Spark per lookup of a person or a company, charged only when it adds a field your record didn’t hold. A lookup that adds nothing costs nothing. A mobile number is its own request: two Sparks, only when one is found.

  • Akai™ assists: one Spark for every five assists (a draft, a summary, a context brief, or an answer). The Spark is used when the first assist of a block of five is produced, and it covers the next four.

  • A Broadcast beyond your plan’s included ones: 80 Sparks to one circle or 160 to your broader network, shown before you click.

Where your Sparks come from, and when they expire:

  • Every new account gets a one-time gift of 10 Sparks that stay until you use them.

  • The trial gives 40 Sparks that don’t carry beyond the trial.

  • The Free plan gives 40 a month that don’t carry into the next month. The Growth plan gives 200 and the Ultimate plan 400 a month, and those stay for 12 months.

  • Sparks you buy (40 for $30 on the Free plan, 40 for $20 on the Growth and Ultimate plans) stay until you use them. An action uses the plan Sparks that expire soonest first, then gifted Sparks, then Sparks you bought.

If a charge doesn’t match this list, write to billing@itogai.com with the email on your account, the date, and what you did, and a person checks it line by line. Sparks are never refunded or exchanged for money.
